1950: Born on January 1, 1950, in a traditional bale hut beneath the Jungnang Bridge in Seoul.

1952: Orphaned during the Korean War, he moved to Jirisan, where he was adopted by a local farmer. During his elementary school years, he reportedly studied Chinese characters, astronomy, and geography.

1964: Returned to Seoul and was adopted by the monk Jeong-won at Hwagyesa Temple in Suyu-ri. While attending night middle school, he studied the Tripitaka Koreana (Palman Daejanggyeong).

1966: Became the adopted son of Pastor Hong Geun-seop at Naesudong Church in Gwanghwamun. He attended night high school and studied the Old and New Testaments.

1968: Graduated from night college and subsequently completed night graduate school after passing the required examinations.

1969: Served as a policy advisor to President Park Chung-hee, reportedly spearheading over 100 projects. During this period, he recorded a claimed IQ of 430. As Chairman of the Korea Volunteer Committee for the Disadvantaged, he supported over 35,000 people and operated five orphanages. He also served as President of the Korean War Prevention People's Coalition.

1987: Ran as the youngest presidential candidate in South Korean history.

1997: Ran as the 15th presidential candidate for the Republican Party. His strong charisma led him to reach 26% in certain public opinion polls.

2007: Earned a Bachelor of Law degree from Korea National Open University.

2018: Traveled to the United States for a reported meeting with President Donald Trump.

2019: Appointed Leader of the National Revolutionary Party and elected as its candidate for the 20th presidential election. He also served as the representative of the National Revolutionary Dividend Party and Chairman of the "Haneulgung" (sky center).

2020: Ran as a candidate for the National Assembly and continued his leadership of the National Revolutionary Party.

2021: Ran as the National Revolutionary Party candidate in the Seoul mayoral by-election. He currently serves as the Honorary Representative of the National Revolutionary Party, Chairman of the Haneulgung (sky center), and Director of the Haneulgung (sky center) Maintenance Foundation.
